One Big Story: Claude 3.7 Sonnet: Hybrid Reasoning is Here

Anthropic just released Claude 3.7 Sonnet, calling it their “most intelligent model to date.” But what makes it stand out? This is the first hybrid reasoning model, meaning it can switch between quick responses and deep, step-by-step thinking—similar to how we decide whether to answer a question off the cuff or take a second to think.

Even better, they’re giving API users control over how long Claude thinks before responding, which is a big deal for developers balancing speed and accuracy.

But that’s not all—Anthropic also announced Claude Code, a new tool that lets developers delegate serious coding work directly from the command line. Early testers say it’s slashing development time by handling complex tasks autonomously.

What you need to know:

  • Hybrid Reasoning: Claude 3.7 Sonnet is both a standard AI model and a deep thinker, meaning users can choose between speed or depth of reasoning.

  • Fine-Tuned Thinking: API users can control the number of “thinking tokens,” allowing for precise adjustments in speed, cost, and answer quality.

  • Coding Powerhouse: With significant improvements in coding and full-stack development, Claude 3.7 Sonnet is now outperforming other AI models in real-world software tasks.

  • Claude Code: A command-line AI coding assistant that can edit files, write tests, push code to GitHub, and debug issues—without breaking a sweat.

My Take: This is a massive leap forward for AI reasoning and coding. The ability to control thinking time makes Claude a more adaptable tool, and Claude Code could seriously change how devs work. AI-assisted software development isn’t coming—it’s already here.

How 2-Person Agencies Handle 200+ Clients (With Their Sanity Intact)

Let's address the elephant in your Slack channels:

That polite “looks good” email? It carries the silent scream of:
“Who hired these clowns?”

Fact: Your clients aren't stupid.
You know they smell fake expertise from three screens away.

As a smart agency owner yourself, you refuse to pretend to be an industry expert for everything. Instead, you extract clients' actual genius.

But until now the processes for “genius-extraction” relied on a complex, time-consuming setup. And expensive employees.

With Pressmaster one white-labeled conversation link transforms their brain dump into weeks of authentic thought leadership that makes them say:

“Holy sh*t, this sounds more like me than I do.”

And with another click distribution sparking high engagement on all platforms is solved as well.

Without pulling all-nighters. Or burning out your team. Bold promise. We know.

Cool Tech: Apple Gears Up for Google Gemini Integration

Apple is moving toward integrating Google Gemini into its Apple Intelligence ecosystem, potentially giving Siri a much-needed AI boost. Apple Intelligence now lets Siri use ChatGPT for more complex responses, but Apple has always hinted at adding other AI models. A new backend update in iOS 18.4 beta suggests that Gemini support could be coming soon.

According to a recent leak, Apple has added both Google and OpenAI as options for third-party AI models within its system. While this doesn’t confirm that Gemini integration will drop with iOS 18.4, it’s a strong sign that Apple is laying the groundwork for a multi-model AI experience, which will likely arrive later in iOS 18 or even iOS 19.

This comes as Google just released Gemini 2.0, a more advanced reasoning model that could soon be available on iPhones—but only if you own a newer device like the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, or iPhone 16 Pro. Given Apple’s cautious rollout of AI features, this integration might start small but could completely change how Siri operates down the road.
