🤔 Can you guess which image is real and which one is AI? Go vote!
Bagel Bots is written by Adam Greenbaum. I’ve built two seven-figure companies, sold one for life-changing money, and have been using AI to level up my personal and professional life for years. Let’s connect here.

One Big Story: AI Is Eating Freelance Jobs Alive
The freelance economy was already a double-edged sword—offering flexibility for some but forcing instability on others. Now, AI is swinging that sword even harder. A new study from Washington University and NYU’s Stern School of Business shows that freelancers are getting hit hard by AI-driven automation, not just in low-skill gigs. High-earning freelancers are seeing fewer job opportunities and a serious drop in income.
What you need to know:
Freelancing is booming—76 million Americans freelanced in 2024, up from 64 million in 2023, and that number is expected to pass 50% of the workforce by 2028.
AI is making it worse—For every 1% increase in a freelancer’s past earnings, they face a 0.5% drop in job opportunities and a 1.7% decrease in monthly income after AI is introduced.
Unions are fighting back—From dockworkers to nurses to university faculty; some groups are successfully pushing back against reckless AI adoption that threatens jobs.
My Take: Freelancers were already getting squeezed by companies cutting costs. AI is accelerating that trend, stripping opportunities from even the most skilled workers. The promise was that AI would take over the boring stuff so humans could focus on more creative, meaningful work. Instead, it’s gobbling up high-skill jobs just as fast as low-skill ones. AI isn’t the villain here—it’s how companies use it.

AI-ighty Potential
Dubbed the "the rocket fuel of AI" by Wired, this groundbreaking innovation has sparked fervent excitement across Wall Street. And with projections soaring to a potential market cap of $80 trillion – equivalent to 41 Amazons – the magnitude of its impact cannot be overstated.
But here's the real deal: nestled within this tech revolution lies an opportunity for sharp investors to invest in a remarkable company poised to dominate its corner of this burgeoning market.
And thanks to The Motley Fool, the full narrative of this extraordinary tech trend has been compiled into an exclusive report, designed to arm you with the insights needed to make informed investment decisions.

Cool Tech: ChatGPT Just Got Really Good at Writing Fiction
AI has already disrupted how we write emails, generate ad copy, and summarize meetings, but now, OpenAI is coming for fiction writers, too. CEO Sam Altman revealed that the company has trained a new model that’s “really good” at creative writing, sharing a sample story that nailed the tricky metafictional style. While OpenAI has mostly focused on AI’s strengths in math, coding, and structured tasks, this move suggests that its latest models are taking a significant leap in storytelling ability.
Key Takeaways:
OpenAI’s new model excels at fiction—Sam Altman shared a sample that he said “got the vibe of metafiction so right.”
This is a new direction—Unlike past models, which were better at structured tasks like coding and calculations, this one seems to have a deeper grasp of creative writing.
No release details yet—Altman hasn’t said when (or if) this model will be available to the public.

Today’s Free Tip: Let AI Curate Your Dream Reading List
Choosing the right classic literature can feel overwhelming—there are so many legendary books, but which ones will truly resonate with you? Maybe you’ve tried diving into the classics before, only to struggle with dense prose or stories that didn’t hold your interest. Or perhaps you’re eager to explore timeless literature but aren’t sure where to start, given your specific tastes and lifestyle.
That’s where this ultimate classic literature mega-prompt comes in. It removes the guesswork by guiding your AI assistant through a precise, structured process to curate a highly personalized reading list. Whether you’re looking for thought-provoking philosophy, sweeping historical epics, or fast-paced adventure, this prompt ensures you get recommendations that fit your interests, reading level, and schedule—without endless trial and error. Let’s find your next literary masterpiece.
Clear Ask: You are an expert literary curator. Your task is to generate a highly personalized list of classic literature that aligns with my specific interests, lifestyle, and reading preferences. The goal is to recommend books that I will truly enjoy and find valuable.
Context & Purpose: I want to read more classic literature but need recommendations that are well-matched to my tastes, time availability, and reading goals. The list should be engaging, accessible, and tailored to fit my personal preferences, ensuring I get maximum enjoyment and insight from each book.
Detailed Input Requirements:
Fill in the placeholders with specific details before submitting the prompt.
• My Interests: (e.g., philosophy, adventure, history, romance, existentialism, fantasy, gothic literature, etc.)
• Preferred Themes or Topics: (e.g., self-discovery, love and loss, revenge, human nature, societal critique, war and survival, etc.)
• My Reading Level & Comfort with Classic Literature: (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced)
• Preferred Book Length: (e.g., short stories, novellas, full-length novels)
• Time Available for Reading: (e.g., 30 minutes a day, only weekends, 1 book per month)
• Preferred Writing Style: (e.g., poetic and descriptive, fast-paced, introspective, witty, philosophical)
• Books I’ve Enjoyed in the Past: (List any books—classic or modern—that I loved)
• Any Classic Books I Didn’t Like & Why: (Optional but helpful)
• Do I Prefer Well-Known Classics or Hidden Gems? (Choose one or both)
• Any Specific Regions or Cultures I Want to Explore? (e.g., Russian, French, Japanese, Latin American literature)
Additional Instructions:
• Include a variety of recommendations (at least 5-10 books) with a mix of different themes, styles, and difficulties based on my inputs.
For each book, provide:
• A brief summary (1-2 sentences).
• Why it matches my interests.
• Approximate reading time or difficulty level.
• A similar book or author for comparison.
• Ensure the recommendations are engaging and compelling, avoiding books that may feel too dense or inaccessible unless they match my reading level.
• Present the list in a well-structured and scannable format for easy reference.
Perfect Output Every Time:
• The list should be highly tailored and feel like a personal recommendation from an expert.
• Avoid generic responses—make each recommendation feel thoughtful and intentional based on my inputs.
• If I specify a preference for a particular culture, prioritize books from that region while still offering variety.
• Format the response using bold headings, bullet points, and clear descriptions for readability.
