(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.

I love artificial intelligence. I’ve been dreaming about it since I was a kid. Honestly, I’m probably more excited about robotics than AI, but it’s all the same to me.

With all of the good AI brings—and there is a ton—I personally have some real worries. I’m not alone. A group of current and former Open AI employees (and others) have launched a new website with a strong message.

đź“Ł A Right to Warn about Advanced Artificial Intelligence

“We are current and former employees at frontier AI companies, and we believe in the potential of AI technology to deliver unprecedented benefits to humanity.”

Cool Tech: The 1X Eve Robot Butler

I loved watching The Jetson when I was growing up. I dreamt of “the future” and the technology it would bring. Even today, I realize the most important resource in life is not money; it’s time. Do you ever think about the time you spend on the mundane? Cleaning, cooking, and other manual work take up so much of our time.

The Jetsons had a robot butler named Rosie, and she did everything. Go watch the show, it was incredible.

Meet Eve, a new robot butler from 1X. Imagine a “symphony of voice-controlled humanoid robots cleaning up after you.” It will be possible soon. Watch the following video and get inspired by it like I am.

I am so damn ready for this and will be an early adopter. Will you?

Latest News.

My take: If you’re building an AI startup, keep going. There is big money in your future.

My take: I’ve been following Particle for a few months. It’s a great idea by former Twitter employees, and it’s cool to see unique ways to consume content. Check it out!

My take: Dread it. Run from it. The robots arrive all the same. At this moment in time, I would believe literally anything Jensen Huang says. The robots are coming! (Should I make t-shirts that say that?)

My take: No offense to anyone in the food industry, but I am so ready for restaurants that are run by robots. For so many reasons, I’m a big yes on this.
