🧠 Fresh tech of the day - Ideogram
No one loves Midjourney more than I do, but I wish it could nail text and numbers from prompts. The lettering resembles the Alien script or the weird fake Star Wars font from Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.
Ideogram is an excellent tool that nails text and allows you to do some fantastic stuff with it.
Here are some cool creations from Ideogram:
Prompt: text: "BULL SHIT"; 3D made of cute wool, creative background, painting, 3d render, typography
Prompt: T-shirt design with text that says "Too old for this shit", minimalist old man with beard ray ban glasses and trucker cap, black background, typography, tattoo-type text, ditail, 4k, cinematic, 3d render, photo

💡 Fresh AI and tech news to consume.
My take: During Covid, my fridge broke. It took months to get a new one because every store in Southern California sold out. If AI can solve this problem for people, I’m into it.
My take: Anguilla will make $30M in 2023 from selling domain names. That is just so amazing and interesting. This is a must-read story.
My take: Zoom was not first with some of these AI products, but they have a chance to be the best with their already incredible ecosystem. We use Zoom at my company, and we love it.
My take: I have paid with my palm at Whole Foods, and it’s quite the experience. The tech behind this is fantastic. Imagine being able to pay for everything with your palm. Tip a valet driver with your palm. I’m into it.
My take: Look at that: my hometown of Las Vegas is leading the way with cool robotics running food and beverage kiosks. I dig it. It is the perfect drink, served quickly at a reasonable price.

🤔 The best uses of Custom Instructions with ChatGPT.
Are you tired of typing the same thing repeatedly with ChatGPT? Custom Instructions solved that.
This was launched over a month ago, and more use cases are popping up daily. My friend Rowan tweeted a thread about the best uses, and it’s incredible. I recommend reading each tweet thread; you’ll learn a lot (for free!)
Custom Instructions with GPT-4 unlocks some insane new capabilities.
If you use ChatGPT, don't ignore this.
Here are the 7 most insane example use cases I've seen so far (a thread):

👋🏻 There is nothing wrong with asking for more information.
The most successful people I know ask the most questions. For some odd reason, people think asking for more information or clarification is a sign of weakness.
It’s the opposite! It means you are listening and want to know more. In any situation, asking for more information will put you in a better position to succeed.
Get comfortable with it!
The tip to succeed in everything you do is to get comfortable asking for more info.
At work, at home, and in personal relationships > don't assume things. Ask for clarification if you don't feel 1000% comfortable with something.
It's shocking how many people are bad at this.
