Cool Tech: Figure + BMW Group's Spartanburg Plant

Figure robots have finally made it into the BMW plant, and the video shows it is probably the future of all plants. Back in January, Figure announced its upcoming partnership with BMW.

And now it’s happening. What makes me so excited about this? We are so early in the world of robotics, and watching this video will hopefully make you realize how close we are to robots running plants like this around the world.

Disclaimer: Replacing humans in this type of work will be challenging, and there is still a long way to go. With that being said, if you’re currently working in a plant somewhere on Earth building BMWs, you can worry just a little bit about all of this.
