(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.
Healthcare in America is a joke. I am a well-off, 37-year-old man living in Southern California with good insurance, and healthcare is still a pain in the ass for me. Once you can actually get in to see a doctor, the journey is filled with lines, waiting rooms, and other headaches. Insert AI.
These are the ideas behind Thrive AI Health, the company the OpenAI Startup Fund and Thrive Global are jointly funding to build a customized, hyper-personalized AI health coach that will be available as a mobile app and also within Thrive Globalâs enterprise products. It will be trained on the best peer-reviewed science as well as Thriveâs behavior change methodologyâincluding Microsteps, which are tiny daily acts that cumulatively lead to healthier habits. And it will also be trained on the personal biometric, lab, and other medical data youâve chosen to share with it. It will learn your preferences and patterns across the five behaviors: what conditions allow you to get quality sleep; which foods you love and donât love; how and when youâre most likely to walk, move, and stretch; and the most effective ways you can reduce stress. Combine that with a superhuman long-term memory, and you have a fully integrated personal AI coach that offers real-time nudges and recommendations unique to you that allows you to take action on your daily behaviors to improve your health.
I donât know about you, but I will be the first to sign up for AI healthcare.

Cool Tech: Figure + BMW Group's Spartanburg Plant
Figure robots have finally made it into the BMW plant, and the video shows it is probably the future of all plants. Back in January, Figure announced its upcoming partnership with BMW.
Under the agreement, BMW Manufacturing and Figure will pursue a milestone-based approach. In the first phase, Figure will identify initial use cases to apply the Figure robots in automotive production. Once the first phase has been completed, the Figure robots will begin staged deployment at BMW's manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
And now itâs happening. What makes me so excited about this? We are so early in the world of robotics, and watching this video will hopefully make you realize how close we are to robots running plants like this around the world.
Disclaimer: Replacing humans in this type of work will be challenging, and there is still a long way to go. With that being said, if youâre currently working in a plant somewhere on Earth building BMWs, you can worry just a little bit about all of this.

Latest News.
My take: As a Nintendo Switch user, I am okay with the greatest video game company on Earth saying no to AI. Of course, everyone says no until one day, they say yes.
My take: Will this continue to be a thing? âJapan looks to stave off a manpower shortage and keep pace with China and the United States on the technologyâs military applications.â With workforce issues and cost-cutting, AI may answer everyoneâs questions.
My take: Marketers, founders, and tech alike hate bots. I am a longtime Cloudflare power user and am so excited that they are innovating like this. Bots can cause many website issues, so Iâm glad theyâre on top of this.
My take: Is it really this easy to get foreign EV spies into the country? Between the weird balloons from a few years ago to this, to the 500 other things we donât know about. Funny or sad? Who knows.
