Cool Tech: Joby Aviation Hydrogen-Powered Air Taxi

Is the future hydrogen, electric, or something else? Whatever it is, I am excited to follow all the technology for a more efficient, cleaner planter.

Joby Aviation’s vertical takeoff aircraft completed a 523-mile test flight using hydrogen power, emitting only water vapor. This suggests that hydrogen could be a more eco-friendly option for mid-range travel than traditional jets.

Joby Aviation is focused on air taxis using VTOLs. Initially developing electric aircraft with a 100-mile range for urban transport, the recent test used a prototype modified with hydrogen fuel, achieving zero in-flight emissions over 523 miles.

If this could get me from Orange County to Los Angeles quickly and safely, I would be 100% committed to being a frequent user. Plus, I would get to way more Dodgers and Lakers games.
