I have long felt the college model was outdated, expensive, and time-consuming. Perhaps some technology and AI can change that and, more importantly, how future generations learn.
David Game College in London is breaking new ground with the launch of the UKās first āteacherlessā GCSE class, where artificial intelligence will take the lead in teaching. Starting this September, 20 students will learn via AI platforms and virtual reality headsets. The AI tailors each studentās lessons to their strengths and weaknesses, continuously adapting and personalizing the curriculum for maximum impact. Topics where students struggle will be prioritized, while stronger subjects are scheduled for later revision.
While traditional teachers wonāt be present, three ālearning coachesā will monitor behavior and provide support in areas where AI still falls short, like art and sex education. The course costs around Ā£27,000 per student annually.

Cool Tech: Neurode
Neurode is a company focused on developing a wearable deviceāa headbandāthat uses mild, noninvasive brain stimulation to help people with ADHD manage their symptoms, such as lack of focus, impulse control issues, and memory challenges, without the need for medication.
