Cool Tech: Figure Robot + OpenAI

Talk about a powerhouse pairing! Figure’s incredible humanoid robots are about to have OpenAI tech inside of them. This feels like a massive moment in the robotic space, and I am so excited to see what comes next.

(side note: 6% of me thinks this is the beginning of a Terminator-like event on this planet.)

Anyway…Figure and OpenAI have entered into a collaboration agreement to develop next-generation AI models for humanoid robots, combining OpenAI's research with Figure's deep understanding of robotics hardware and software. The collaboration aims to help accelerate Figure's commercial timeline by enhancing the capabilities of humanoid robots to process and reason from language.

Yes, these humanoids will start having conversations and coming to life.

Today’s Tip: Use ChatGPT To Create an Excel Budget File

A friend recently asked me if ChatGPT could do a budget for him. I said, “Are you willing to upload your data to OpenAI? Because it could.” He said no but still wanted help.

Here’s a prompt:

Can you provide a template for a monthly budget planner in Excel format, including categories for income, expenses, savings, and a summary dashboard?

And just like that, it created everything he needed for his Excel file. You can see the results here. You can either run with this or continue to ask questions and describe what you need for a more detailed file.
