We are one step closer to personalized AI, and OpenAI is leading the charge! They announced this week that they are launching a “memory” feature for the world’s most popular LLM.
Oddly enough, I just watched the movie Her, which still holds up as a fantastic film.
We’re testing memory with ChatGPT. Remembering things you discuss across all chats saves you from having to repeat information and makes future conversations more helpful.
You're in control of ChatGPT's memory. You can explicitly tell it to remember something, ask it what it remembers, and tell it to forget conversationally or through settings. You can also turn it off entirely.
Even better, you will have control of the memory feature. I can see how this can be amazing and cause issues depending on how you use ChatGPT. Either way, we’re getting closer to the movie ‘Her,’ and I’m excited about it.

Cool Tech: Nvidia’s Chat with RTX
Nvidia announced that they've rolled out "Chat with RTX." It's an AI chatbot that runs locally on your PC. No internet? No problem. It digs through your files, gets what you need from documents, and even sorts through YouTube videos and playlists. Fast, offline, and keeps your data private.
Chat with RTX supports various file formats, including text, pdf, doc/docx, and xml. Simply point the application at the folder containing your files and it'll load them into the library in a matter of seconds. Additionally, you can provide the url of a YouTube playlist and the app will load the transcriptions of the videos in the playlist, enabling you to query the content they cover.

My take: People don’t always love my comments on robots and AI taking jobs. If it makes you feel better, it sounds like I’m getting replaced too.
My take: For the record, I agree entirely with this. AI + movement in physical space is the future.
My take: All the worry about AI taking jobs is justified, but it’s great to see companies like Google putting money into education about how to use AI.
My take: As you saw above, AI may be coming for my job. And apparently, there are now risks of AI boyfriends (husbands) taking my wife from me. AI is madness!

Companies worldwide are laying people off in record numbers, which means getting a job is more complicated than ever. ChatGPT to the rescue! I just helped some friends with this, and it worked perfectly.
First, open ChatGPT4 and upload your resume using the attachment button.
Next, you enter this prompt:
You are an HR expert, and I need your help applying for a job. I am right for this role and want to ensure my resume matches the job description correctly. I have attached my resume and will paste the job description below. Please let me know of any gaps between the job description and my resume. Please also let me know of any changes I can make. Here is the job description:
[paste job description here]It will give you a list of gaps in your resume and updates to make it appear like a better fit for the job. Don’t lie on your resume, people!
