I believe in working smarter, not harder. Unfortunately, sometimes you need to work hard and smart to get real success.

This is the story of a man who took “work smarter” to a whole new level. With a single click, he applied for 5,000 jobs and got 20 interviews. Those are not great odds and probably not the success he would have had if he manually applied for 5,000 jobs. BUT 20 interviews with a click of a button is pretty impressive!

Specifically, he used a tool called LazyApply to blast out 5,000 job applications "in a single click" — and managed to land around 20 job interviews. While that may sound a lot, that's a meager success rate of roughly half a percent.

What is Runway?

Runway is a research company that develops cutting-edge AI tools for creative professionals. Their mission is to make AI accessible, controllable, and empowering for creatives, enabling anyone to tell their stories. Runway's AI research has led to the development of innovative tools such as Gen-2, a video-to-video AI model that can generate videos from text descriptions, and RunwayML, a platform for training and deploying AI models.

My take: I am extremely happy for Hollywood's actors, writers, and all on striking a deal. But let’s be honest: AI will be coming to the big and silver screens before we know it.

My take: Damn. I should have been an AI researcher.

My take: If this means we will get more AND better animated films in the world, this is a wonderful thing. If it means we’ll get more crap, it’s terrible. We’ll see where this one ends up.

My take: Grok AI will be coming to my Tesla. I'm unsure of how I feel about it now, but voice commands in the car will certainly make me feel more like Tony Stark, not less.

My take: I have said it many times—AI is coming for all jobs and will not care about who’s on the other side.

 💯 Create your own GPT and work faster

OpenAI recently launched a custom GPT builder that allows you to build your GPT to get work done quicker.

This is how to make your own:

  1. Login to ChatGPT

  2. On the left side, click Explore

  3. At the top, click Create a GPT

  4. Click Configure and start creating!

My friend Rowan inspired me, so I built a bot that writes incredible social media content for me. Not to worry, I never copy and paste it. I constantly edit, but I love the inspiration.

I also downloaded my last 28 days of posts from X (Twitter) and used it to train my GPT on what works and what does not.

Here is my new bot:

Now, I can skip the long prompts and use this new GPT to get things done for me quickly. The prompt is already built into the instructions. There is an excellent way to create GPTs for everything you need to turn yourself into a content-creation machine.
