(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.
The CEO of OpenAI is in hot water for using the term "median human” when talking about who AI will replace.
How is it used in a sentence? Like this:
Artificial general intelligence could learn and perform all these tasks and more. Eventually, when we develop an AGI in earnest, it would display the capabilities of the median human, but retain the potential to become an expert in the field, something we now consider reserved for the narrow AI. It would be possible for AGI to become a scientist, an engineer, or a doctor.
I can totally see how this would come off as insensitive, but I understand what he is saying. It’s the same thing I say in every newsletter. Many humans will be forced to evolve and learn new skills, or this technology will replace them. I’m sorry if that comes off as insensitive. It’s going to happen.

My take: I have been an Apple fanboy my entire life, and I can tell you that they are rarely first, but they are always the best. When they start dropping AI products, it’s over for everyone else.
My take: Another unlock to using ChatGPT at a high level. I am going to test this, and I will report back if it works.
My take: I have a smart house and would love to have something like this running. I love that Google is leading the charge on this, and I look forward to a world where this is normal in all homes.
My take: This feels like the biggest threat to Midjourney, and I feel that OpenAI will not miss on this product. From what I’ve seen, it can nail text, which is a massive game-changer.
My take: I hate myself for liking these so much. I’m not going to actually order them, am I? I have had some ideas for livestreaming long walks on the beach with my dogs. True story. Let me continue to ponder. Check out the glasses below.

Creating good content typically means using data and insights to personalize the content and make it interesting. One problem: not everyone has the access or time to pull good data. Google’s Bard can help with that.
If I wanted to write content about the importance of mobile responsive website design in 2023, I could get some critical stats to include in my content and build around.
First, open Bard. Next, use this prompt:
Give me recent statistics about the importance of mobile responsive websites. Please cite your sources.
And voila, I have stats and sources to add to my content to make it more impactful.
You can do this with anything and get information from cited sources, a content marketer’s dream!
🔗 You can access Bard here.
💪🏼 End the year strong!
We all had goals for 2023. The year went way too fast for my liking, but here we are.
So ask yourself, did you do everything you wanted to do? Did you hit your goals? If you didn’t, you still have 25% of the year to get back on track.
Don’t go into next year feeling like you didn’t work hard enough toward your goals this year.
🚨 There are 90 days left in 2023. What are you trying to get done before 2024?
