Will future interviews, education, and work take place in the metaverse? Roblox seems locked in on that and has built its own virtual career center. Users can learn about the company and prepare for interviews here.

The future will be so freaking nuts, and I love it.

🚨 I have an ask: email me things you want to learn or read about. Send an email to [email protected] and let me know what’s on your mind.

Want to connect with me beyond Bagel Bots? You can also connect with me directly on Twitter (X) and LinkedIn. If you’re new here, you can read past posts and subscribe to Bagel Bots to get caught up.

📽️ Fresh app of the day - HeyGen

On the one hand, this technology blows me away. On the other hand, humanity is so doomed. I am not removing anything from this fantastic tech; it’s groundbreaking.

But, I am thinking of all the ways this can be used for evil, and I am positive that everyone will fall for it.

Video production is complex and expensive—HeyGen solves both of those issues.

💡 Fresh AI and tech news to consume.

My take: I have a Tesla. Do I think it has a mind? No. Do I think Elon is making significant strides in AI? Absolutely. Either way, we are heading to a point where cars have “minds,” which is wild.

My take: This is the exact type of use of AI that I am here for. If it benefits human health or animals, it’s always a great use of artificial intelligence.

My take: Enterprise AI is the future, period. Finding a way to use it at scale and protect your data seems like something every business on Earth would be interested in.

My take: AI-generated content is performing exceptionally well for Buzzfeed. What does that mean for all other content-based platforms? It means they will be left in the dust if they don’t utilize AI in some fashion.

My take: I read horrible stories on Instacart and Uber Eats deliveries from both sides. The people working for delivery services hate them, and those who use them have issues. Robots to the rescue?

Learning a new topic or theory is difficult, and you may not know where to start. This single ChatGPT prompt solves that for you.

I want to learn more about [anything]. Identify and share the most important 20% of learnings from this topic that will help me understand 80% of it.

I wanted to learn more about simulation theory (I believe we are in a simulation, by the way), so I used this prompt.

I want to learn more about simulation theory. Identify and share the most important 20% of learnings from this topic that will help me understand 80% of it.

This is what I got:

It works for me and gives me a lot to think about. What are you going to use this prompt to learn about?

💪🏼 The key to success is persistence.

I have started two companies and had a very successful exit from my most recent company. I look back at the success over the last eight years, and the answer to what happened is pretty simple—I never quit.

Everyone in my life quits. Everyone starts something new and doesn’t follow through. I just started and never stopped going.

That is how you succeed, period.
