(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.

Apple has been working on its own car for years. The car program, known as Titan, has been in the works for a decade and saw billions of dollars invested into it. Check out the Tesla financials if you’re wondering why Apple would even consider starting a car company.

Apple made the disclosure internally Tuesday, surprising the nearly 2,000 employees working on the project, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the announcement wasn’t public. The decision was shared by Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams and Kevin Lynch, a vice president in charge of the effort, according to the people. Those employees will focus on generative AI projects, an increasingly key priority for the company.

Speaking of Tesla, it sounds like Elon is happy with Apple bowing out of the race to build the world’s best EVs.

I am less of an Apple fanboy than a few years ago, but I am happy to hear they are focused on great products and AI above all else. Let the AI races continue to heat up! And for now, we’ll forget what could have been:

Today’s Tip: Learn Anything With ChatGPT and The 80/20 Rule

The 80/20 rule is a great way to learn anything, and it relates to more aspects of life than just learning things. Today, I will teach you how to use ChatGPT to learn anything with the 80/20 rule.

Here is a breakdown of the 80/20 rule in its simplest form possible:

Imagine you have a big box of crayons, but you notice that you only use 4 out of every 20 crayons to color your pictures most of the time. Those 4 crayons are your favorites because they make your pictures look really nice, even though there are a lot more crayons you could choose from.

The 80/20 rule, also called the Pareto Principle, is like this. It says that in a lot of things in life, 80% of the effects come from just 20% of the causes. Just like how 80% of your beautiful pictures come from using just 20% of your crayons. This rule can be seen in many places, like in a garden where a few plants produce most of the fruits or in a toy box where you end up playing with just a few of your many toys most of the time.

Anyway, here is a ChatGPT prompt you can use to learn anything faster.

I'm eager to learn about [insert topic] and would like to apply the 80/20 rule to maximize my understanding with minimal effort. Could you identify the top 20% of concepts, ideas, or practices within [topic] that contribute to 80% of the foundational knowledge or success in this field? Please provide a brief explanation of these key elements, why they are critically important, and how they interconnect to offer a comprehensive understanding of [topic]. Additionally, if there are any common misconceptions or less important areas that often distract from focusing on these crucial elements, highlighting them would be helpful.

Test it for yourself, and let me know what you learn!
