(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.

Are Apple users more likely to try new technology than non-Apple users? It seems like it. From TechCrunch:

A new report from app subscription service Setapp found that 42% of Mac users today report using AI-based apps on a daily basis, and 63% claim to believe that AI apps are more beneficial than those without AI.

Are you a Mac user, and do you use AI tools?

💰 If you’re looking for investors or advisors for your AI product. I’m interested.

This newsletter is called Bagel Bots because I am obsessed with robotics (and bagels). I have been watching from afar as Figure teased their innovative robot designs, and they just unveiled the Figure 01 robot. I am blown away.

I genuinely believe in-home robots are closer than we think.

My take: If Uber and Lyft didn’t already kill the taxi cab industry, this should be the final nail in the coffin.

My take: They’ll say this has nothing to do with AI, but I promise it has everything to do with AI.

My take: The future of politics (and everything) will be so wild with AI in our lives now. Buckle up for the 2024 election.

My take: Even dull industries like insurance will get the AI bug and raise a ton of money. As Thanos said, it’s all “inevitable.”

My take: No one does robotics and logistics better than Amazon, and I mean no one on this planet.

Every one of these apps can help you with your company, career, side hustle, or personal project. I recommend diving deep into them all.

⌨️ Use AI to get data for your next piece of content.

Data and stats make any piece of content better. As I’ll remind you below, data is a better storyteller than feelings every single time.

So let’s say you want to get stats on anything, and I mean anything. Google’s Bard can help you make any piece of content better.

Example: You want to write content about the importance of responding to reviews. Go to bard.google.com and use this prompt:

I am writing a blog post about the importance of responding to reviews for local businesses. Can you provide me with some recent data and cite your sources?

The output was perfect. It gave me essential data that can support my content piece, it gave me sources, and it explained why it’s so important.

Just like that, I am ready to create content, social posts, and more. It’s that simple.

📈 Data > Feelings

Mostly at work, but in other parts of life, we need to normalize caring more about data than feelings. So many of us, me included, believe our gut feelings are right more than what the data is showing us.

Track things. Watch the data. Make decisions based on data. It’s that simple.
