(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.

All we want for Christmas is AGI, right? Well, the world’s leader in AI says it’s not happening in 2024.

What is AGI? AGI is the concept of a machine that can perform any intellectual task that a human being can do, not limited to specific functions like current AI systems.

My thoughts: This may be a good thing. Once AGI is here, there is no going back. And we can say companies won’t use it to cut costs sharply, but that would be naive.

My take: I am so excited to describe my exact mood and have a Ma$e and 50 Cent playlist from the 2000s start playing.

My take: Many of these cuts were made to their ad sales department. It’s sad when people lose jobs, but I have been on the other end of many calls from this sales team, and well, here we are.

My take: On the one hand, I don’t see an issue here. On the other hand, if things are out in the world and accessible, I think they should be fair game to use to train large AI models.

My take: The big takeaway? Companies winning with AI will smoke companies that are not using it. It’s that simple.

My take: Bill Gates gives his thoughts on where the world and AI will end up together next year. This is absolutely worth a read.

Every one of these apps can help you with your company, career, side hustle, or personal project. I recommend diving deep into them all.

Image creation will be a big part of any creative, marketer, tech founder, or content creator’s life moving forward, and that means understanding how to prompt Midjourney 6.0 for the best image output.

For Christmas, I wanted to create some ads for Louis Vuitton (LV, you can sponsor Bagel Bots anytime!), and I used Santa Claus and The Grinch as inspiration.

Prompt:

editorial photoshoot, the Grinch on the runway for Louis Vuitton, full body, shot on fujifilm 50mm, dressed in Louis Vuitton pattern, studio lighting, cinematic, hyper realistic --ar 4:5 --stylize 750 --v 6

Images:

You can also create incredible landscape images:

Prompt (replace just the first part to see anything you want):

a Hawaiian waterfall from above, muted colors, cinematic contour lighting, low contrast ProLog, awardwinning composition, chromatic aberration --ar 4:5 --stylize 750 --v 6

⚠️ An end-of-the-year reminder.

I believe in being organized and focusing on every little detail. I often say that my life is great because of it, and I genuinely believe that.

Focusing on the little details has helped all of the “coin flips” in my life come my way because knowing every detail means always having an edge.

If you do things with care, you’ll do everything with care.
