(Read time: five minutes) - Fun fact: I never change this.
I, for one, am very excited about the robot revolution. I grew up watching the Jetsons and have always dreamed of robots working for me around the house. I’m a clean freak. If you told me a robot could clean my house all day, I’d pay a lot for that.
There are dangerous jobs out there that would better be served by robots. Bring on the bots.
The future of Chinese industry may rest on the shoulders of humanoid robots if the country can meet official new goals pushing mass production by 2025 and attaining world-advanced level in the technology by 2027.

💰 If you’re looking for investors or advisors for your AI product. I’m interested.
Since starting this newsletter earlier this year, I have made many comments about robots coming to take our jobs. There are days when I am sure it will happen. AI and robots will replace one-third of the world’s population, and chaos will ensue.
Then there are days when I think robots and AI will be limited, and humans will always reign supreme.
Then I watched OpenAI’s Dev Day, and I am positive AI and robots will replace all of us.
Everyone can now create their own GPT, and things will get wild.
You can now create custom versions of ChatGPT that combine instructions, extra knowledge, and any combination of skills.
And just like that, the top creators are creating with this fresh tech.
It's only been 11 hours since OpenAI Dev Day
Here are 12 of the craziest things people have already built already

My take: I am positive that the 2024 election is going to be a massive shitshow, and AI will play a big part in it.
My take: As I said above, robots and AI may actually replace us all. It’s going to get weird in a hurry.
My take: This is just the beginning. I am curious how this will work. Artists own their likeness, but do they own their actual voices? Will they own their voice if it’s changed by 5%? Where is the line? I guess we’ll find out. A lot of lawyers are going to make a lot of money.
My take: How many rare diseases will AI cure in the next decade? I am hoping it’s a lot. There are two people in my orbit dealing with ALS and Parkinson’s Disease. It’s not fun to watch.
My take: Remember when I waffled on whether or not robots would replace us at work? Well, now we may or may not have to worry about them killing us. Was it an “accident” or not?

🍵 Everything you need to start a new business with ChatGPT
I sold my company in 2022. It was a fantastic experience, and I was lucky enough to stay on as an executive and continue building my dream.
Of course, I am always thinking a step or two ahead and am wondering what comes next in my life, whenever that may come. I’ve had this funny dream about opening a coffee shop by the beach. It would be relaxing and smell good, and we could build a real community.
But I don’t know where to start. So I asked ChatGPT. FYI: you can change this prompt up for your dream business idea.
You are an experienced coffee shop owner and I really need your assistance. I am interested in purchasing or opening my own coffee shop. Can you break down all of the steps I would need to open my shop, and give me an idea of how I should price items to be profitable? The more detail you can give me, the better.
I got a massive result that gave me every single step I needed to bring this dream to life. You can see the complete response here.
BONUS: I designed the coffee shop in Midjourney with this prompt:
Editorial Photo establishing wideshot of busy, dynamic coffee shop bustling full of customers, interior is Japandi minimalist. in California near the beach, high detail, golden hour, bright outside, realistic, modern and minimalist, smiles, lauging, good times, warm, fill lighting 4k DSLR --ar 16:9 --s 750
Next time you’re out in Newport Beach, CA, stop by my coffee shop and get a fresh matcha!
🥇 Nothing is worse than losing
This is weird, right? Aren’t they the same thing? Well, no. If you hate losing, you’ll do anything to win. If you like to win, you can still lose.
I have one employee who hates losing more than most people I’ve ever met. That’s what makes her great.
I’ll die before I lose.
People that hate losing > People that like winning
